Everyone loves PUP, right? They’re one of the few punk / indie-rock crossover hits that operate in perfect equilibrium, and that always gets acknowledged. Especially with 2016’s The Dream Is Dead and 2019’s Morbid Stuff, the portrait of a desperate, riotous and ultimately human band was welcomed with open arms.

Now they’re back, fresh off the release of their new album Who Will Look After The Dogs?, and little has changed. Perhaps it hasn’t had the widespread reach of their back-to-back smashes, but you never expect PUP to not deliver, right? Back in the UK with an indie-punk double-header of illuminati hotties and Goo at their side, PUP are well and truly in their element, as they often are. Ross Peacey headed to their Bristol show to catch it all.
