This isn’t the first time we’ve caught Lambrini Girls this year, and chances are it won’t be the last. They’ve already got an even bigger UK tour pencilled in for the end of the year, not to mention a number of festival appearances to keep them busy over them summer. It’s all par for the course for punk’s new top firecrackers, really.
Since Who Let The Dogs Out released at the very start of the year, the doors really have been blown open for Lambrini Girls. As the first band to fully carve out a piece of 2025 for themselves, they’ve definitely been making the most of it, between international waves and a homegrown swell that’s coming dangerously close to breaching the mainstream. And there’s been no loss or diminishing of a punk ethos amongst that. Lambrini Girls haven’t sanded down their fangs to pay fealty to the industry; they’ve been embraced and platformed for exactly who they are. Ross Peacey headed over to their Bristol show to catch that in full force, until the inevitable next time when it’s been blown out to even greater proportions.
