PHOTOS: Stress Positions – Exchange, Bristol – 04/07/2026

It’s kind of amazing to see the traction that Stress Positions are picking up. Well, ‘traction’ in the relative terms of where a powerviolence act can end up. Nevertheless, between last year’s Human Zoo feeling like a fairly sizable milestone for them, and an appearance at 2000trees Festival in the coming days that’s nothing to gloss over either, the wheels are turning towards something pretty exciting indeed. So, in the line of sight of their big festival show, some extra dates around the UK can’t hurt at all. Their Bristol stop is already a leg up from where they were last year, just one more positive to add to a healthily growing list. Ross Peacey headed down to check it out.
