Everything’s comin’ up Perp Walk right now, it seems. Their biggest base remains in the south west, but in terms of hardcore bands with the legs to really make moves going forward, they’re among those you wouldn’t bet against. Support slots with the likes of Scowl and Fucked Up are one thing, though a place on the bill of last year’s Outbreak Festival really could be seen as their big turning point. They’ve now trod the boards at one of the UK’s most beloved punk and hardcore weekenders, and new music and a jaunt over to Europe on the cards suggest there’s plenty more to come. At their hometown show opening for High Vis and Narrow Head, Ross Peacey was invited down to catch these hardcore heavyweights-in waiting.
