We’re coming to the end of 2025’s summer shows at The Piece Hall, so let’s wrap it up with…a bang? Gotta be honest—Khruangbin are a bit of a weird one to throw out there as your season capper, though that’s not to say they can’t live up to occasion. On uniqueness alone, a vision comprised of psychedelic rock, indie, funk, sizzling desert fare and various strains of international rock and pop is like nothing this Halifax hall has seen all summer. It’s the kind of mesmeric work, even under complete bafflement that this is the platform size they’re being awarded, you almost can’t help but look on and be impressed. Ben Whitehurst headed over for the one-of-a-kind time.
