If there’s anything you can give We Came As Romans props for, it’s longevity. They’ve stuck it out through metalcore’s shifting waves, establishing a solid foothold that’s let them plough along through the years without much fuss. Perhaps their scope isn’t as wide-reaching as it used to be (evidenced by the rather cosy climes of Manchester’s Club Academy housing them tonight), but they’re swingin’ on regardless. And if nothing else, they’re providing a vehicle for some good names beneath them—Brand Of Sacrifice, continuing their crusade to out-heavy the headliners on any given bill, and the proprietors of some might shockwaves throughout the scene lately, Heavensgate.
