PHOTOS: Jehnny Beth – Rough Trade, Bristol – 03/09/2025

There’s a lot of anticipation around Jehnny Beth’s new album You Heartbreaker, You, it feels. With the acclaim already rushing in and a past oeuvre that’s more than justified the hype—both solo and as the frontwoman of Savages—it’s no wonder that, in the right circles, this feels like such a big deal. Plus, it’s not like Jehnny Beth hasn’t routinely been making some of the most interesting, thought-provoking post-punk out there, regardless of which avenue it comes from. Expect this new one to be a real critical fave, then, and with this record store tour to celebrate its release, the era of You Heartbreaker, You has already kicked off in earnest.
