Despite her stint in pop-punk seemingly being done (just like the rest of the early 2020s’ class of soloists; funny, that…), Maggie Lindemann clearly still has enough star power. At least her current alt-pop form has enough of a throughline, to where she’s definitely more legitimised as an artist than most of the others. There’s also an obvious popstar magnetism on top of that, the sort that unlocks a venue as decently sized as Manchester’s New Century Hall, and enough stans to fill it. Even if she’s not the biggest or loudest in the space currently, Lindemann still has her place locked in, and she’s doing an admirable job of keeping it that way for the foreseeable future.
